Diana joined Waterhouse & Dodd in September 2018 after having spent nearly five years at a leading Mayfair gallery specialising in 20th Century Impressionist and Modern art.
She graduated from St Andrews in 2012 with a degree in Art History, with a focus on Post-War French Abstraction and mid-century New York Modernism. Her first experience in the London art industry was as an intern at Bonhams, and then Sotheby’s, and working with a prominent art consultant where she further developed her knowledge of the art market, with a particular focus on Russian art.
At Waterhouse & Dodd, Diana works alongside Jonathan specialising in the 20th century European market, helping him organise exhibitions as well as source, sell and research European paintings. Her area of expertise in particular is French art, including Impressionism and Post-Impressionism, early Modernism (with an especial interest in Léger and Chagall), the School of Paris, and the Post-War French period, encompassing Dubuffet, Soulages, and de Staël.
Besides her native English, she is a Russian and French speaker.
