Amelia joined Waterhouse & Dodd as a junior member of the London team and works alongside Jamie with the research, exhibition and sale of Modern British and Contemporary works of art. She studied History of Art at Queens’ College, Cambridge with a focus on Modern, Contemporary, Russian and Islamic Art History and has since interned at Dickinson and the British Pictures department at Sotheby’s. She has worked cataloguing and researching Victorian, Modern British, Old Masters and Contemporary works of art and written several blog posts for Sotheby’s. Amelia’s areas of interest are the School of London, Post-Modernism and female Surrealists, in particular Peggy Guggenheim’s patronage of the latter on which she wrote a thesis. She is an English and French speaker.
