Our latest exhibition of work by Graham Dean coincides with the London 2012 Olympic games and Graham, at the suggestion of the Victoria Art Gallery in Bath, created a body of work which documents and celebrates the act of competition through sport. While this may sound like a tangential move, to those familiar with Graham's works over the years it actually ties surprisingly closely with previous bodies of work. In dealing with complex psychological states, introspection and the human figure Graham's latest body of work is thematically linked to past exhibitions at the gallery including Sleeper, White Noise and Thinking Bodies. Graham has avoided dealing with any notions of celebrity, instead rendering his athletes largely anonymous save for the propsassociated with their chosen sports.

A special limited edition print has been produced featuring Diver 2, one of the watercolours in the London exhibition. The print is priced at £300 and is presented loose-leaf in a presentation box.
